Identity first
Companies House number is the canonical company key. Names are labels that can change. Fund membership is associated with that number where a public source or curated resolution supplied it. A GLEIF link is published only when registration authority RA000585 carries the exact same Companies House number; name-only matches are rejected.
Source hierarchy
- Current Companies House proxy response or daily CompanyBeacon snapshot.
- Official public-record D1 projection with recorded import metadata.
- Governed R2 analytical projection or immutable source snapshot with explicit licence, identity rule and source date.
- Curated fund-membership snapshot with its source last-modified date.
Daily refresh
A scheduled Cloudflare queue submits every tracked company number for rechecking. Consumers update the dedicated status database at a rate designed to respect the upstream API and also refresh the 294 exactly matched GLEIF records. A later scheduled job writes an aggregate JSON report to R2.
National indicators
UK context reports read the newest immutable parsed R2 snapshot. Each monthly, quarterly, weekly or on-change observation keeps its own period. A new page render never relabels an older official observation as today's value.
What we do not infer
A company status does not prove investment performance, misconduct, tax eligibility or the current holdings of a fund. An LEI or LEI renewal status is not a credit or solvency signal. National statistics do not predict an individual company. Contract awards do not prove total supplier revenue. Charity-company matches use published identifiers and should be verified at source.
