Active
“Active” means the company remains on the register. It is not a credit score, a statement that the company is trading, or confirmation that filings are up to date. Read the accounts and confirmation-statement fields separately.
Strike-off and dissolution
A proposal to strike off is a process signal. Dissolved means the legal entity has been removed from the register. Review Gazette notices and filing history to understand the route and dates.
Liquidation and administration
These are insolvency processes with different purposes and office-holders. Use the insolvency endpoint and original filings; do not infer wrongdoing from the presence of a process.
Use the number
Company names change. The Companies House number is the durable identifier and is the canonical key on every CompanyBeacon profile.
